UEFA Euro 2008 is yet another football game from EA Sports. This time it's basically FIFA 08 modified to let the player experience this summer's European Championship.
Euro 2008 lets you control any European national football team in many different ways. For example you can decide to create your own character and play as good as possible on your position on the field in order to become good enough to captain your team. This is basically a slightly modified version of the "be a pro"-mode from FIFA 08.

You can also try different challenges and tournament modes in order to unlock extras or just test your abilities. You can play through the full championship experience, including the qualifying stages, or you can skip ahead to the group stages. You can also play a very extensive challenge mode where you try to make you nation the best in European football by clearing different challenges against all the other European teams.

As with FIFA 08 the PC and console versions are quite different. In fact, they are based on completely different game engines. While the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3-versions boasts state of the art graphics and a new and improved control system, the PC-version still basically looks and functions like the 2006-version.

Internet Explorer 7.0 is the long awaited tabbed web browser by Microsoft. Nearly four years after the release of Internet Explorer 6.0, in the face of growing competition from Mozilla's Firefox, Microsoft has finally given the old IE platform a facelift. Optimized design along with new cool interface, favorites centre, search box, RSS feeds and most importantly easy to use tabbed browsing are the exclusive features of this new internet explorer.

You must have Windows XP Service Pack-2 (SP2) in order to install Internet Explorer 7.0. But still you will face a problem while installing this new Internet Explorer if your copy of Windows XP is not a genuine (non-pirated) one, since IE 7.0 installation requires genuine windows validation!!! So what to do??? Don’t worry… There are some tricky steps through which you can install IE 7.0 even in your pirated copy of windows XP bypassing the genuine windows validation. You just have to follow the following steps one by one:

Download Internet Explorer 7.0 installer from the Microsoft site. You have to choose Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) as your operating system. Remember you can’t install IE 7.0 if service pack 2.0 is not installed in your operating system. And if you are facing genuine windows validation problem while downloading IE7 installer from the Microsoft site, can also download this installer alternatively from here or directly from here.
Download WinRAR and then install it if you don't have! Extract the downloaded Internet Explorer setup file (IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe) using WinRAR to a directory (IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu).
There will be a folder named 'update' inside the extracted IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu folder.

Now download the patched iecustom.dll and then copy-paste it inside the update folder (IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu\update\) and click yes when asked to overwrite.
Now, download normaliz.exe . Then copy this exe file and paste it in your “c:\” drive.
Run ‘update.exe’ inside the update folder inside the extracted IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu folder. (not iesetup.exe!!!).
At the end, you have to choose ‘Restart Later’ (not Restart Now) option to finish the running process of the exe file.
Now you have to download normaliz.dll and then you have to copy-paste the downloaded normaliz.dll to the “c:\windows\system32\” directory (in order to prevent problems with the file not being found after the installation). And then reboot/restart your pc.
After rebooting your pc, you may face a problem with a file called normaliz.dll that can not be found by explorer.exe. If you’re having this problem, you will find your desktop blank.(If you are not facing this problem then just go to step 8) In order to fix this problem, you have to do the following things one by one:

Press ctrl-alt-del to go to the task manager.
Go to “File -> New Task (Run…)” in the task manager.
Type: ‘C:\normaliz.exe’ (excluding quotation marks) in the ‘open’ field and then press the ‘ok’ button.
‘WinZip Self-Extractor - normalize.exe’ window should popped up and then press the ‘unzip’ button.
Reboot your pc and yahoo!!! now you can see your desktop contents!!!.

Now you have to run ‘xmllitesetup.exe’ in the update folder. This step is very important, because somehow if you forget to run this ‘xmllitesetup.exe’ , IE 7.0 will be installed in your PC without it's toolbar!!!
Then reboot your pc again, run Internet Explorer…and you are done!!!

So folks, don’t forget to install Windows Internet Explorer 7.0 in your pc and enjoy the experience of tabbed browsing with lots of new features. And those who are using Firefox, can use a special IE Tab plugin to enjoy browsing in the Internet Explorer environment being in the firefox and switching around from Firefox to IE and IE to Firefox. And thus you can make your web browsing faster and more interesting...

But still you will face a problem while installing this new Windows Media Player if your copy of Windows XP is not a genuine (non-pirated) one, since WMP 11.0 installation requires genuine windows validation!!!

But there are some tricky steps through which you can install WMP 11.0 even in your pirated copy of windows XP bypassing the genuine windows validation. You just have to follow the following steps one by one:

1.) Download Windows Media Player 11.0 (make sure its the final and latest version, not beta) from the Microsoft Site. Alternatively, you can download the installer file directly from here. Remember you can’t install Windows Media Player 11.0 if service pack 2.0 is not installed in your operating system.

2.) Extract the downloaded Windows Media Player setup file (wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe) using WinRAR to a directory (wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu). Now make sure you have a “LegitLibM.dll” file in the extracted “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” folder.

3.) Download the patched LegitLibM.dll and then copy-paste it to the “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” folder and click yes when asked to overwrite.

4.) Now run “setup_wm.exe” file in the “wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu” folder.

5.) Restart your PC, then run your Windows Media Player and you are done!!!

TimeShift is a sci-fi, first-person shooter from Vivendi Games for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was developed by Saber Interactive, the same developers behind the game Will Rock, using a new proprietary 3D engine and Havok.[2] A few pieces of Will Rock carry over to TimeShift, from the way gibs are shown, through some of the unique weapon designs, up to the beta suit's AI system (S.S.A.M., resembling Serious Sam, a favourite of Saber since Will Rock, which carried many similarities). On August 31, 2007 a demo of Timeshift was released on Xbox Live Marketplace. Following this, a PS3 demo was released onto the Playstation Store on November 1, 2007. The game was released on Xbox 360 and PC on October 30, 2007 in the United States; November 1, 2007 in Australia; and November 2, 2007 in Europe.

F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is a stand-alone expansion pack to the computer game F.E.A.R. The expansion was developed by TimeGate Studios, the same development team behind the first expansion, F.E.A.R. Extraction Point.[2]

The game follows the exploits of a new player character, a member of a secondary F.E.A.R. team sent in to investigate Armacham's Perseus Project. The game takes place during the events of the original F.E.A.R. as well as the Extraction Point expansion pack. New introductions to gameplay include friendly A.I.-controlled characters who fight alongside the player character, as well as a new faction of enemies.

Call of Duty 2 is a first-person shooter video game and sequel to the critically acclaimed game Call of Duty. It was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It was released on October 25, 2005 for PC and November 15, 2005 for the Xbox 360. Other versions were made for mobile phones as well as Pocket PCs and Smartphones.

The game is set during World War II and is experienced through the perspectives of three soldiers in the Red Army, British Army and United States Army.

The game was met with a positive public reception, receiving mostly positive reviews from critics.[2][3] The Xbox 360 version sold over 250,000 copies in its first week, and had sold 1.4 million copies by October 2006.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is a 2004 Academy Award-winning film, directed by Brad Silberling. It is based on the first three novels, The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, and The Wide Window, in Lemony Snicket's book series. It was nominated for four Academy Awards.

As in the books, exactly where and when the story takes place is unclear. The film reflects this ambiguity in its art direction; it was praised for its creative sets and costumes, all of which have a darkly expressionistic and gothic feel, leading to a highly unusual and creative visual motif.[1][2] Silberling has said this was partly inspired by the visual style of the similarly themed The Night of the Hunter.

Delta Force: Land Warrior is a tactical first-person shooter (FPS) video game. It is the third game in the Delta Force series produced by Novalogic, and is the sequel to Delta Force 2 (DF2). DFLW was sold as stand-alone game and also as part of the "Delta Force Trilogy," a 3-disc set which included Delta Force 1 (DF1) and DF2.

Delta Force: Land Warrior is infrequently referred to as Delta Force 3 or DF3. DFLW, LW, or "Land Warrior" are commonly used by players to denote the game. DFLW was a major departure from previous versions in the Delta Force series by including realistic weapon recoil and 5 different player-selectable characters. Each DFLW character has unique combinations of strengths and weaknesses.

Some of these unique character traits are running speed, reloading time, and weapon accuracy. Players can also select various combinations of characters and weapons, a unique freedom newer FPS games do not offer. For example, a player can select the medic character and use a sniper rifle or a machine gun. The sniper can use a grenade launcher. The grenadier can use an underwater assault rifle (UAR). There are no character or weapon restrictions in DFLW, any selectable character can use any selectable weapon.

DFLW gives players the option of single-player games or multiplayer games online. Single-player games utilize enemy soldiers commonly referred to as "bots" to provide competition and are controlled by the game's artificial intelligence or AI. Some bots are friendly and are part of a player's team but are considerably less in number and have generally poor fighting ability.

The multiplayer game option allows players to compete against human opponents. This option requires players to have an internet connection which is necessary to connect to DFLW game servers. DFLW was originally designed to be played online utilizing dialup internet connections. DFLW game servers can be hosted by individual players, or players can log onto official Novalogic servers which require a Novalogic account. Novalogic game servers and player accounts are free.

Additionally, Novalogic game servers keep a wide range of player statistical information in a database which all players can access and see. Novalogic game servers are often referred to as "stat" servers. In the early 2000s during DFLW's height of popularity, Novalogic offered up to 50 slot player servers. As of September, 2007, Novalogic continues to host DFLW games, although the number of servers and player slots has been reduced over the years.

Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights is a racing video game released on September 25 for the PS2, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS. The PSP version was released on October 8, 2007, the Windows version was released on November 16, 2007, and the PS3 version was released on October 22, 2007, though it was originally set for release at the same time as the other versions. It is a sequel to the 2005 game Juiced. It was developed by Juice Games and published by THQ. It utilizes more advanced car modification methods in comparison to its predecessor.

A demo for the Xbox 360 version was released on Xbox Live Marketplace on July 19, 2007. A second, multiplayer demo appeared on September 14, 2007. Ursula Mayes is on the cover of the game on all platforms.

Gothic II is a single-player role-playing sequel in which you play as a lone hero who must do battle with bandits, orcs, and dragons in a sprawling 3D world. Like in the first game, you control a soft-spoken hero from a behind-the-back perspective and follow one of three career paths in pursuit of his ultimate goal--which, in this case, is to stave off an assault by orcs and dragons unleashed by the death of a demon, the same one that he defeated at the end of the first game. While Gothic II has various improvements, it retains the clunky 3D control scheme for movement and combat used in the first game, and it's just as unforgiving, if not more so. However, if you're up for a challenge, have a fairly good computer, and don't mind the control scheme, you'll find that Gothic II has plenty to offer.

Chuck Levine and Larry Valentine are two firefighters. They are good friends. However, Larry is a widower (with two small children) and Chuck is single.

Larry dares Chuck one day to eat a dead rat, but he falls from the ladder that he was going to the drop the rat from. Chuck saves him but the two are rushed to the hospital and quickly recover. Larry calls in that favor big time when civic red tape prevents him from naming his two kids as his pension beneficiaries. All that Chuck has to do is claim to be Larry's domestic partner on some city forms. They think it will be easy because nobody will ever know. After Chuck agrees to the ruse (though reluctantly so, due in large part to his notorious womanizing), the two men go to Niagara Falls to get married, and Chuck moves in with Larry and his unsuspecting kids.

But an official becomes suspicious, and the new couple's arrangement becomes a citywide issue and goes from confidential to front-page news. Forced to improvise as love-struck newlyweds, Chuck and Larry must now fumble through a charade of domestic bliss under one roof. After surviving their mandatory honeymoon and dodging the threat of exposure, the well-intentioned con men discover that sticking together in your time of need is what truly makes a family.

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas is a simple action game based on the children's movie of the same title that was quietly released in the summer of 2003. Though the game features some competent gameplay mechanics and attractive graphics, the extremely short campaign mimics the film's brief theatrical run a little too well, as it's gone almost before it starts.

The problems begin before you even open the box. Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas is rated Teen by the ESRB, but clearly, this is a game aimed at the same younger audiences that saw the PG-rated film. The very light and 7or4cartoonish violence in the game left us wondering how Sinbad could have earned the same rating as many explicit shooters, but no matter how you rationalize it, there's got to be something amiss when a game's rating does not match its target audience.

Once you get started playing, you'll find that the developers have done a pretty good job with Sinbad's graphics. Though the animation isn't always crisp, the vibrant colors and the artistic settings and character models do resemble the film that the game is based on. The game's music is appropriately epic, but it's disappointing that none of the stars (Brad Pitt, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Michelle Pfeiffer among them) who lent their voices to the film did any voice acting for the game. In fact, the game is devoid of any kind of spoken dialogue whatsoever. The plot is advanced instead by comic book-style panes and scrolling text in between missions. Like the Teen rating, the abundance of written text seems somewhat strange for what's basically a children's game based on an animated cartoon.

The game follows the same plot as the movie. You take the role of the legendary swashbuckler Sinbad, who has been framed for the theft of the Book of Peace, which protects the city of Syracuse. The actual culprit is the goddess of chaos, Eris, and it's up to you to seek her out and return the magical Book of Peace to its proper place.

The gameplay mechanics are surprisingly decent for a movie-licensed game. You use the mouse to move around by clicking on the area where you wish to move. Your actions are confined to just three keyboard buttons, which are mapped to your slashing attack, thrust attack, and block maneuvers. By using different combinations of these keys, however, you can unleash special attacks like dives, uppercuts, spin attacks, and a coup de gr?ce. Later on, you are able to unleash magical attacks that eliminate every enemy on the screen at the expense of your supermeter, which very quickly builds up as you defeat enemies through more conventional means. The game does a great job at teaching you these moves, and although the mouse-driven movement can make aiming your attacks a little awkward at times, for the most
part, the controls feel pretty tight and intuitive.

STORY:

It is 1898. In the New Mexico wilderness, Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis) works his silver mine. When he breaks his leg when he finally finds the silver ore, he drags himself to town to sell it. He hires a crew, including a man caring for an infant son. When the silver mine plays out, Plainview discovers oil in the mine. He builds a pump and recreates himself as an oil man. The young father dies in a drilling accident. Planview adopts the young boy as his own and names him H.W. Nine years later, Plainview is a successful if still somewhat minor oil man. He has several productive wells around New Mexico and, with H.W. (Dillon Freasier), travels the state to buy the drilling rights to private property.
